SUCCULENT LANDSCAPE

I encourage my HS IB students to do a summer art challenge, where we explore inspirations, taking photographs, sketching and gathering images that capture our attention.  Then using the vast amount of creative data we collect we challenge ourselves to create 3 compositions per week, using whatever medium that speaks to us.  Of course, I like to create along with my students and their choices inspire and inform my choices.  Themes that I explored in the summer of 2020 were succulents, mountains, the scenery of HK and Shekou and as always, colour.
