BECOMING DANS MONTREAL
These videos are the result of my artographic explorations through a series of semi-repetitive transact walks through Centre-Ville, Montreal, Canada with an evaluative view of public art - viewed from the perspective of looking down. A view that is not generally considered in design, yet at the same time, comforting and familiar Using transdisciplinary ethnography strategies such as walking with video, mental maps and mythogeography, I sought to share an intimate understanding of arts-based research as an enacted, living inquiry through theoretical pinnings of repetition and the six renderings: contiguity, living inquiry, openings, metaphor/metonymy, reverberations, and excess.
